The Shipwrights, Fishers and Mariners Play - Noah and the Flood, with an introduction from the Building of the Ark

Performed by St Luke's Church, Burton Stone Lane, York

Reviewing the work of his creation, God is saddened by the sinful acts of humankind and resolves to begin anew by cleansing the earth in a mighty flood.

God reveals his plan to Noah, commanding him to build an ark in which the best of life may be preserved. As the work is completed and the promised flood waters rise, Noah assembles his family, but Mrs Noah has priorities of her own!

Members of St Luke's Church perform the play of Noah and the Flood - The Shipwrights, Fishers and Mariners Play
